What are wooden cold pressed oils?
Wooden cold pressed oils are extracted by us using wooden pestle and wooden mortar too, to minimize heat generation. Normally, wooden pestle and steel mortars are used to maximize oil yield, but they generate more heat compared to using both pestle and mortar made of wood. The yield will be less, but the quality of the oil will be superior.
We want our customers to have the best oil, made to exacting standards, with least heat generated.
Is there any kind of chemical processing involved in cold pressing?
No, it doesn’t involve any chemical or heat processing
Are refined and cold pressed oil same?
No, cold pressed oils are chemical free and produced without heat in a slow mechanical process whereas refined oils involve chemical process and heat treatment.
What is the difference between fortified refined oil and VRK Naturals cold pressed oil?
VRK Naturals Cold Pressed oil retains all the natural nutrients from the oil seeds after the low temperature pressing and no chemical refining is done but in refined oils we lose all the nutritional values and taste, hence need artificial fortification.
What is the significance of tin packaging?

Is virgin coconut oil prepared with copra or coconut milk?
VRK Naturals coconut oil is prepared from copra and it contains the high fiber and protein. It is done through cold pressing method in wooden mills.
